Shenzhen Citizen Center(above picture attached) is the locus of Shenzhen government, which is a colligation of government offices, museums and directing center. It is the most advanced intellectualized government organization in China with the building area of 300,000 m2. And it is a large public building invested by Shenzhen government and will become an important symbolic building of Shenzhen in the 21st century.
The Citizen Center project consists of west limb, middle section and east limb, covered with a large roof of 486 meters long and 154 meters wide. It looks like a roc spreading its' wings (Roc City is another name of Shenzhen).
There are 1 floor underground and 5 floors on the ground at the west limb, where the mayor' s office and meeting rooms are set.
At the middle section, 2 floors are underground with garages, equipment rooms, noble restaurant and dining hall etc set there. On the ground, the round tower with 12 floors and the quadrate tower with 15 floors are used to set reception rooms, honoured guests hall, convention hall, light industry exhibition hall, offices, archives and reading hall etc.
There are 1 floor underground and 5 floors on the ground at the east limb, where the city people' s congress offices, museums, cultural relic storehouse, exhibition hall, meeting hall and lecture hall etc are set.
