The CHINA SOUTHERN  base station project of the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport relocation & reconstruction project is a project invested by CHINA SOUTHERN with RMB 3760 million. The base station is located at the west part of the southern district and the northern district of New Baiyun Airport. Covering a land area of 2,114 acres and 410 thousand square meters in construction in its first phase construction, the CHINA SOUTHERN base station project becomes the largest investment in the history of CHINA SOUTHERN and the largest freightage station project in the construction history of Chinese civil aviation(it is a joint investment with Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Holdings Co.,Ltd), as well as the largest airplane maintenance hangar in  the country.
 When put to use the base may satisfy the request of 2.55 billion ton-kilometer transportation turnover, 13.5 million passenger transportation capacity and  257 aircraft maintenance services.

The base station project includes six areas: the comprehensive work & service area, the ready-to-cook dish area, the freightage area, the airport affairs area，the outfield work service area and the 110 kilovolt  high-voltage electric power transformer & supply area. And, there are ten main construction projects in these areas, including the field road project, the airport affairs project, the freightage project, the aviation ready-to-cook dish project, the southern comprehensive work & service building project, the power supply project, the water supply & sewerage project, the network & communication project, the landscape and greening project and the special vehicles project.

The four highlights——China's largest airplane maintenance hangar, the second largest freightage station in Asia, the office buildings which can be used as bunker in war time and the aviation ready-to-cook dish building in which 42 thousand meals can be served——make the base station the most advanced one all over the country.

Shenling company succeeded to be the biggest equipment and service suppliers of AC terminals of the CHINA SOUTHERN base station project of the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport relocation & reconstruction project with its former successful bidding in the navigation building project of the Guangzhou Baiyun Airport relocation & reconstruction project in July 18,2002.And all the bidding products have been supplied and received in time and being running well till today.
